Smash the Americans?
France’s Alain Bernard when asked about the American Swim Team said: “The Americans? We will SMASH them.”
It wasn’t the case, in the last leg of the race it looks like France’s anchor Bernard had the race won for France. Then like drafting in a NASCAR Jason Lezak came from behind and won the gold for the Americans. Even if the French had won, they would not have smashed them. It was a bold prediction that fell short because of the Heart of the American team that were determined to win.
GO U.S.A!!!

They will probably blame their body hair or something along those lines.
