First Things First and 98.7 The Peak are combining for the first annual Crusade For Kids Dot-Com-A-Thon to help children who are hurting. All proceeds from the Crusade For Kids Dot-Com-A-Thon, presented by First Things First, will benefit the Valley’s three child crisis centers.

We are asking for donations to continue providing opportunities to children and their families in Phoenix by helping fund these short-term, residential crisis centers for children - from newborns to 10 years old. Children entering the shelters come from difficult family situations. These children are cared for by a well-trained, nurturing staff and provided with shelter, clothing, educational opportunities, medical attention and healthy meals in a family environment. We want to see that continue and are committed to helping the child crisis centers.

The Crusade For Kids Dot-Com-A-Thon, presented by First Things First, continues through Friday, May 15, 2009.
